Hi! I'm Stacey Harper, mom of two boys, designer, knitter and creator of wade oaks. I learned to knit when I was pregnant with my older son (he's seven now!), and I have to admit, it has become a bit of an addiction. I find it to be relaxing and productive at the same time - such a good combination! I have always loved the idea of the knit applique, but had a hard time finding patterns out there for the shapes I wanted to make. The experience of losing our home to a wildfire in the fall of 2007 pushed me into a place where I was able to take a leap and I became inspired to create my own patterns.
The resulting wade oaks collection of totally unique tshirts, onesies, totes and wall art feature modern, fun shapes that appeal to people who appreciate good design and love interesting color combinations. Each piece is handmade and one of a kind and everything is made of 100% cotton or organic cotton. You can feel good about making an eco-friendly choice and supporting handmade at the same time!
